I’m moving to California in about 7 months. I’d really like to get my realtor liscense but, I’m not sure how to go about it. I don’t have any experience and I’m not liscensed in any state yet. I’m a good sales men and I think I’d be really good at it. What all goes into becoming a realtor in California. I will most likely be living in the San Diego or Orange County area.
You have to take a course, pass a background check and successfully pass the test. This is a tough market to start in, but if you sign up with a good agency that has great training and mentorship, you can do it.

This is a terrible business here in California now. Most realtors are leaving the profession die to the mortgage crisis.
Many are selling cars instead. If you insist try Anthony Real Estate schools

The better question is why? Real estate is in the tank in California, very little is selling and I doubt it much will change in the next 2-3 years out there. I’d strongly suggest looking at other alternatives that hold a better chance of making money.
