What is reasonable compensation for me to pay a apartment realty agent?

Posted by admin on April 2nd, 2010 and filed under realty | 2 Comments »

My boyfriend and I are having a little one and are in need of a bigger space, still a apartment but yet reasonable…I would prefer using a realtor because I’m due in the spring and I wanna be moved in at least by the new year…the only thing is I don’t know what the average rate is of a realtor to help find a apartment in NY, (Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan)….any suggestions….realtor recommendation greatly appreciated…

I live on Long Island and used realtors for 2 apartments-worst landlords i ever had but they charge a Months fee some will take off some but most dont. If your rent is 1200 they get 1200 on top of the security you have to put down so be sure you have it. the agent i used on one apartment took off 100.00 but that was it.

good luck and congratulations.

how much would i get if i sued a realty company?

Posted by admin on March 31st, 2010 and filed under realty | 3 Comments »

i don’t wanna get in details but they did a lot of wrong. this company is not major, national but is very prevalent to the area’s population. in the worst case scenario, im sueing (sp?) the seller and her real estate agent who’s the vice president of the above company.
oh yes there was suffering. i had to skip work a couple times to deal with this business in turn i lost money, i lost sleep over it, and i even lost a few pounds.

Since you gave no details, it is impossible to give an answer. In general, since there is unlikely to be any pain, suffering, or extenuating mental anguish involved though, the most you could get would be the actual, provable monetary damages.

This is a show about my family owned real estate office and our close knit team of people, our different personalities and the properties we are encountering in the current real estate market.

We would like to help educate people on the current market. For instance just one of the things many people are unaware of is that if you are facing foreclosure on your property the bank will usually provide you some relocation assistance (money) in order to vacate the property and help you get your foot in the door somewhere else.

Is it true that Celebrity Realty of Central Florida gives you half of their commissions just for using them?

Posted by admin on March 29th, 2010 and filed under realty | 4 Comments »

Has anyone heard of a Real Estate Company called, Celebrity Realty of Central Florida out of Orlando that will give you half of their commission just for using them as a buyer’s agent? So let’s see, if you purchase a home for around $290,000 and the commission pays just 3% that’s $8,700 and out of that they will give you half which is, four thousand three hundred and fifty dollars ($4,350.00). Is this true? And how can I get in contact with them because I can’t find them?

Yes this is VERY true! They are a very hard company to find because of what they offer. They really don’t advertise because, well they don’t have to. My husband and I used them and received a check at closing for over $7,000. Can you believe it? We paid off our car and one credit card with the extra money and here is something else they offer. If the home you purchase is over $400,000 the pay you %75 of their commission. (Do the math on that one, WOW!) Plus no matter what the amount of the home you purchase they also pay for your home inspection and your home appraisal. They are a fantastic company and we refer them to everyone. I highly recommend them. Their phone number is, 407-384-0044, ask for Frances she’s great.

On the us 99 realty trivia is anyone else having trouble with the answer not working?

Posted by admin on March 27th, 2010 and filed under realty | 12 Comments »

The question is what is the average number of days a house is on market in bridgeport. I found the answer 119 days. But when i put it in it says it’s wrong.

103.7 out of Charlotte, NC will not except the answer either. bummer!!! Didn’t get credit for watching the videos either so keep an eye on that and make sure you contact them if you don’t get credit for watching them either. It is NOT giving credit for anything not even the bonus sites or for answering the video question.
I just went back into my credit history and I didn’t get credit for any of the trivia answers yesterday so EVERYBODY NEEDS to check theirs and make sure you did.

I am a realty agent, How could I sell my properties by means of internet?

Posted by admin on March 25th, 2010 and filed under realty | 3 Comments »

I have special power of attorney to sell a 2.6 hectares in Cavite, Philippines near industrial area.. I have no contacts to propose the selling of this property. I know one may help me

Selling / advertising services and properties and products online is fairly easy.

1.Free way – most people use classifieds like http://www.sellit-right.com for services/ products promotion.

2.Post your links to your pages to social bookmarking sites that accept it.

3.You can leave great comments on other people’s posts / blogs and link back to your site. Never spam make sure it relevant otherwise they won’t accept your comment!

4.Have a signature link in various forums that points back to your site.
Create a blog / mini site of your own to talk about your site using http://www.blogger.com

Keep at it more than 4 times (or more) online a week to see good results. People are interested when you keep them interested. If you stop advertising you lose potential sales and no one remembers you.

Is it just me or does EXIT Realty work like a MLM scam? How is that legal?

Posted by admin on March 23rd, 2010 and filed under realty | 2 Comments »

Just to make it clear. I feel this way because they focus mainly on recruiting others (sponsoring) and on residual income. That is exactly what MLM companies focus on. It aounds like a complete pyramid scam.

I have been a part of the Exit Realty system for three years now and I can say that the "Exit Formula" is 100 percent legal and NOT a scam. Admittedly, I have seen some agents taking the whole sponsoring thing to the extreme, and that could cause a bad impression, but that does NOT speak for the validity of Exit. In a nutshell here is the deal. I hate to make this long, but I want to be sure the information is CLEAR!

(1) Exit Realty is a 10 year old, legitimate and respected real estate brokerage franchise. Just like ReMax, C21 or Keller Williams (which also has a residual component, but not as profitable as Exit), and licensed all over the USA. It’s tough to be a "scam" and still hold your brokerage licenses!

(2) Agents start out with a 70 / 30 split with the broker, and when the agent’s gross commissions hit 100K, the split then goes to 90 / 10 (with the broker keeping 10 percent). There are no "desk fees" or "admin fees". It’s a clean compensation plan for the agents

But there is the "residual component"

(3) IF an agent "sponsors" another agent into Exit Realty (with any Exit Brokerage in the US or Canada), the COMPANY will pay the "sponsor" a residual on the business created by the sponsored agent. This residual payment comes from the BROKER’S CUT … not the sponsored agent.

The "full time" recruiting agent gets 10% of the gross sales commission of recruits – OR
The "retired" recruiting agent gets 7% of the gross sales commission of recruits – OR
The heirs of a deceased recruiting agent gets 5% of the gross commission of recruits.

(All with a MAXIMUM of $10,000 per year … when the recruited agent hits the 90% commission level)

Last year I generated (part time) $20,000 in commissions from a few listings that I sold. BUT I also earned another $4500 from another agent that I sponsored into Exit (in another office) who LOVES the basic compensation plan with the brokerage.

This is not a scam or ponzi scheme – it’s a system where the company legally rewards agents for helping to grow the Exit brand.

Sorry for the long post, but if you have any other questions feel free to contact me via my Yahoo Answers Profile.
